Durgapur. Bengal Minister Agnimitra Paul has prayed to Maa Durga to annihilate the anti-national forces and active anti-India elements raising their heads in the country in the name of protest. Just as Durgatinashini slew the demon, she prayed to Maa Durga to destroy those 'anti-India forces'. She said, "End the anti-India forces, Mother. End those criminals who have thought of nothing but their own benefit." She was attending a pre-puja festival at Durgapur City Center, where she delivered a stern message against anti-India forces.
She stated that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the entire country is moving forward and becoming strong. However, she prayed that Mother destroys those trying to obstruct the nation's path. She wished for such forces to be eradicated from the entire country and state. On this day, she enjoyed cultural programs and fireworks at the City Center and extended Durga Puja greetings to the people of the state. She also appealed to remain vigilant during the festive days, stating that emergency services will remain active during the puja, and police and administrative officials will monitor the situation from the streets. However, along with the administration, ordinary citizens must also remain aware. She also gave a message to follow the guidelines issued by the government to protect the environment.
