Big news is coming from Koderma railway station situated on the Dhanbad-Gaya railway line. A massive fire suddenly broke out in the last compartment of the Koderma-Barakana passenger train standing on the platform under suspicious circumstances. Seeing smoke and flames suddenly rising from the train, panic gripped the station premises and among the passengers.
Information about the incident was immediately given to the railway administration, Railway Protection Force (RPF), and the fire department. Railway employees and firefighters reached the spot and after much effort, brought the fire completely under control in time. The relief is that the fire was extinguished in time, averting a major accident and heavy loss of life and property. All the passengers onboard the train were safely evacuated at the time of the incident. Currently, the cause of the fire is not clear. Railway police and the technical team are investigating the matter.
