Asansol. Durga Puja has ended, but the festive season across the country is still in full swing. Kali Puja, Diwali, Bhai Phonta, Chhath Puja, and much more are ahead. And festivals mean red ink on the calendar! Banks will remain closed for a total of 13 days in November! So that you do not face any trouble, let us know in advance when the banks will remain closed next month, i.e., November. Every month has four Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays. Due to this, banks will remain closed on these Sundays in November—November 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. Similarly, on November 14 and 28, which are the second and fourth Saturdays of the month, there will be no work in banks. In many states, including Chandigarh and Madhya Pradesh, banks will remain closed on Sunday, November 8, and the next day, November 9, because it is Govardhan Puja and Vishwakarma Day. On November 10, banks will also remain closed in many states, which is the day after Diwali. This day is also known as Gujarati New Year. November 11 is Bhai Phonta and Chitragupta Jayanti. Therefore, banks will remain closed in many states on that day as well. Then on November 16 is Chhath Puja. Obviously, it is a bank holiday on that day. You will not be able to do any work on that day either. After that, on November 23 and 24, banks will remain closed in many states. Therefore, finish your bank work in advance. And if you are a bank employee, no problem, pack your bags and head out in the states where there are holidays from 8th to 11th.
