Dhanbad: The Dhanbad Rail Police and Railway Protection Force (RPF) team conducted a raid at Ganouri Utensil Shop located in Hanuman Mansion, Katras. Thirty stolen brass taps and several other items from the Vande Bharat train were recovered. Shopkeeper Sanjay Kasera has been arrested.
During the interrogation of individuals caught for stealing railway property, the name of the Hanuman Mansion Ganouri utensil shopkeeper had surfaced. Subsequently, the raid was conducted at the shop with the cooperation of Katras Police. Katras Police Station In-charge Praveen Kumar stated that Katras Police assisted the RPF during the raid. He said that police will keep a strict eye on those buying and selling goods related to railway property theft. Necessary action will be taken in such cases. Currently, the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
