It is known that the child is a resident of Jharkhand. An alpin used while folding new clothes and pants fell on the bed, and the child swallowed it. The alpin got stuck in his windpipe and became dangerous. He was first taken to a local hospital, but no treatment was available there. Then, he was admitted to Burdwan Medical College Hospital on Sunday night. After tests, the doctors decided to perform surgery. Doctors said that since the sharp end of the alpin was pointing upwards, removing it was quite risky. On Monday morning, Dr. Asim Sarkar, Dr. Ritam Roy, and Dr. Shubhadip Sardar of the hospital's ENT department performed surgery and removed the alpin from the windpipe. Dr. Ritam Roy said that the alpin was removed under general anesthesia using rigid bronchoscopy. According to hospital sources, the child is doing well after the surgery. Burdwan Medical College Hospital Superintendent Shantanu Sen said that it was very difficult to remove the alpin stuck in a dangerous condition in the child's windpipe. The doctors did an impossible job and saved the child's life. The child's family members are also happy with the success of the surgery and thanked the doctors.
