Asansol. A brutal murder in Hindustan Cables Old Colony, Rupnarayanpur under Salanpur police station area of the Sadar subdivision has caused a sensation. The murder is alleged to have been committed over suspicion of an extramarital affair. The deceased youth has been identified as Ashok Kumar Singh alias Vicky. His family primarily resides in Delhi, where his wife and two children live. However, Vicky frequently visited a quarter in the Hindustan Cables area of Rupnarayanpur. According to local and police sources, Vicky was suspected of having an extramarital affair with the wife of Old Colony resident Mintu Yadav. Yesterday evening, when Vicky went to Mintu Yadav's house, Mintu suddenly returned from work and a heated argument broke out between them. The deceased's relatives have alleged that this was a pre-planned conspiracy. Vicky's hands and legs were tied, and he was severely beaten with sticks. He was taken in critical condition to Pithakeyaari Hospital and later to Asansol District Hospital, where he died on the way. Upon receiving information, the Rupnarayanpur Outpost police immediately launched an investigation. In this incident, police have arrested two accused, Surendra Yadav and Deepak Yadav. Additionally, the main accused Mintu Yadav's wife has also been taken into police custody for questioning, and a search is underway for the remaining absconding accused.
The deceased's aunt made serious allegations, stating that this was a well-thought-out conspiracy. Due to this love affair dispute, Vicky was systematically called to the house and then, with his hands and legs tied, a fatal attack was launched on him. Mintu Yadav and his associates beat Vicky until he became unconscious.
