Durgapur: The Hemophilia Society – Durgapur Chapter organized a 'Durga Puja Pandal Hopping' for hemophilia patients and their families on Maha Saptami. The event was inaugurated by South Bengal State Transport Corporation (SBSTC) Managing Director Pranav Ghosh and BJP MLA Lakshman Chandra Ghorui. Everyone visited several beautiful Durga Puja pandals and enjoyed moments of happiness, laughter, and togetherness. For a few hours, they forgot their everyday pain, struggles, and challenges. Their smiling faces and shining eyes reminded everyone that despite all hardships, every individual affected by hemophilia has the full right to be happy, loved, and to dream. They need not only treatment and care, but also a normal life.
The Hemophilia Society – Durgapur Chapter always stands by people affected by hemophilia and their families, supporting them in their struggles, celebrating their achievements, and empowering them to face each new day with courage and hope. The Durgapur Chapter expressed gratitude to SBSTC for providing two buses and to the City Centre Phari In-charge for arranging lunch.
