Ranchi: Roopi Soren, mother of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, has passed away. She breathed her last a short while ago. Following the news of this incident, a wave of mourning has spread across political circles. It is reported that Chief Minister Hemant Soren was present at the hospital at the time of her passing. Earlier today, her health had deteriorated significantly.
She was undergoing treatment at the Hill View Hospital in Bariatu, Ranchi, where she was kept on life support systems. Upon receiving news of Roopi Soren's worsening health, Chief Minister Hemant Soren rushed to the hospital. Given his mother's critical condition, the Chief Minister had cancelled several of his programs. Information had also emerged that the cabinet meeting scheduled for Wednesday evening was postponed.
