Killer Bull Controlled in Phularitand, Katras

Dhanbad: An aggressive bull, which had become a symbol of terror in Phularitand, Katras, was finally caught by villagers on Tuesday after three hours of intense effort. Following attacks on Ranjan Yadav and Rahul Bhuiyan on Monday, villagers armed with sticks descended into the forest, surrounded the bull, and chased it towards the Phularitand Khatal. It was brought under control using ropes. According to villagers, 80-year-old Chando Bhuiyan on September 4 and retired employee Siyaram Sonar prior to that had died in the bull's attacks. Several other people were also injured. After the bull was caught, people breathed a sigh of relief. The Katras Goshala refused to keep it, after which villagers took it in a vehicle and released it towards the Giridih region. Villagers including Jai Prakash Yadav, Ranjeet Yadav, Manu Yadav, Rajesh Yadav, Chandan Yadav, Bholu Yadav, Shiv Chauhan, Dayanand Yadav, Sanjeet Yadav, Ashok Yadav, Manthosh Yadav, Praveen Gupta, Rajendra Mistry and others played an active role.
