Asansol: A new surprise and experiment in the taste of Bengali tea! Liquor tea is being prepared not with milk, sugar, or normal water, but with pure coconut water! Tea lovers are gathering near Agradwip station in Katwa-2 block of East Bardhaman district to taste this unique tea. As evening falls, the crowd grows, and people have to stand in long lines to get a single cup of tea.
According to tea vendor Sukanta Gorai, he has been selling this unique tea for about two years. He said this initiative is to give his customers a new taste of tea. First, a fresh coconut is cut in front of the customer. Then the coconut water is gently heated, and liquor is prepared using a special variety of tea leaves. It contains no milk, sugar, or regular water. The price of each cup of tea is 10 rupees. However, if there are no other customers and someone wants to drink the entire coconut's tea alone, they have to pay the price of the whole coconut. That is the condition. First, he made tea at home using this method and tasted it. He heated the coconut water to extract the tea leaves and served it to customers. Its taste is completely different. From locals to people from far and wide, everyone is loving the taste of this unique tea. According to customers, even after drinking various types of tea, the coconut water tea has a distinct flavor. Once you drink this tea, it is hard to forget the taste. Although it is not known how beneficial this tea is for the body, and whether the properties of coconut water remain after heating and mixing tea leaves, overall, there is a new excitement in the tea cups at Agradwip.
