Maithon (Dhanbad). Maithon Power Limited (MPL) has been conferred with a national award for its commitment to social causes and remarkable efforts towards community empowerment. MPL CSR was presented with the prestigious award in the 'Excellence in Community Empowerment and Livelihood Development' category at the Brand India Summit CSR Awards 2026 held in New Delhi. Today, CSR Head Randhir Kumar, along with his team, presented this award to CEO Basudev Hansda. Present on the occasion were Chief (O&M) Satish Prabhu, Head (HR) Daitari Swain, Head (FAM) दुर्गेश शर्मा [Durgesh Sharma], Head Security Sunil Kumar Singh, along with Komal Gagrai, Uday Singh, and Sunny Sisodia.
