Dhanabad. Passengers at Dhanabad railway station are currently forced to buy bottled water from other brands instead of Rail Neer. Due to maintenance work at the Rail Neer plant located in Howrah, supply is said to be disrupted for about a month. This has also affected Dhanabad station, where the supply of Rail Neer has been stopped for about 10 days. As a result, passengers are unable to get water of their choice. The daily consumption of Rail Neer at Dhanabad station is reported to be around 200 to 250 cases. Rail Neer is sold at railway stations with the objective of providing bottled drinking water to passengers at prescribed rates. Its availability gives passengers confidence regarding the price and quality of water. However, due to disrupted supply, passengers now have to rely on bottled water of other brands. Water availability at the station is essential for long-distance travelers, and the unavailability of Rail Neer can cause them significant inconvenience.
