Ranchi: Under the Sarvajan Pension Scheme, the pension amount for the month of September has been sent to the accounts of 1,86,669 beneficiaries in Ranchi. An amount of Rs 1,000 has been transferred to each beneficiary's bank account via DBT. A total payment of Rs 18,66,69,000 has been made under this head. According to the district administration, the pension amount has been given to the beneficiaries of Chief Minister's State Old Age, Tribal, HIV/AIDS Relief, and Transgender Social Security Pension Schemes. These include 1,85,894 old age pensioners, 318 tribal beneficiaries, 454 HIV/AIDS affected individuals, and 3 transgender beneficiaries.

The administration has clarified that linking the bank account with Aadhaar is necessary to continuously receive the benefits of the scheme.
