Dhanbad: The Intercity Express running between Koderma and Dhanbad is likely to be extended to Dhanbad. Railways is exploring the possibilities for this, and a suggestion for the train's extension has been made.
Dhanbad DRM Akhilesh Mishra informed MLA Raj Sinha that the relevant suggestions and proposals have been sent to the headquarters. Train number 13234 Danapur-Koderma Intercity train departs from Danapur at 6:40 AM and reaches Koderma at 2:10 PM.
Train number 13233 Koderma-Danapur Intercity Express departs from Koderma at 2:40 PM and reaches Danapur at 9:45 PM. With the extension of this train service up to Dhanbad, passengers of Dhanbad, Parasnath, and Hazaribagh Road will get direct trains to Patna as well as Nalanda and Rajgir. You can start your journey from Patna in the morning, reach Dhanbad by afternoon, and return to Patna from Dhanbad by evening.
