Spiny Porcupine Found in Maithon Professor Colony

Dhanbad: The intrusion of wild animals into residential areas continues unabated in the Maithon region. After snakes and jackals, a spiny 'porcupine' has now been reported entering homes. On Sunday morning, a spiny porcupine suddenly appeared in the house of Rameshwar Chaudhary, a resident of Professor Colony in Maithon, causing panic among the family members. The family was greatly distressed trying to get the porcupine out from a corner of the house. Subsequently, a local snake saver was called, with whose help the porcupine was safely captured and later released into the forest.
