UAE's BAPS Swaminarayan Temple Theme in Durgapur's Marconi Dakshinapalli

Durgapur. The BAPS Swaminarayan Temple is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It was inaugurated on February 14, 2024, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, you do not need to go to UAE to see this temple during Durgotsav. You just need to visit Marconi Dakshinapalli in Durgapur. The steel city of Durgapur has been famous for years for its theme-based Durga Pujas. The themes for pujas and pandals are based on various topics ranging from history to mythology, temples and architecture spread across the country and abroad. The Durga Puja pandal in Marconi Dakshinapalli, Durgapur, has been built in the style of that very temple. A very large and attractive pandal has been set up on the grounds. Every year, millions of crowds gather to have darshan of the Durga idols and long queues are formed. This year too, the situation will remain the same. Visitors will come to the pandal overnight to have darshan of the idol. The outer decoration of the pandal is attractive, and the inner decoration is even more appealing. Inside the pandal, there will be attractive idols made of fiberglass. The lighting system is also designed accordingly. Not just the pandal, but the lighting in this puja is also a surprise. On one side of the pandal's entrance, there is a picture of Bharat Mata. On the other side, there is a picture of Lord Jagannath of Puri. The inauguration will take place on October 13. During Durgotsav, local as well as external artists have been invited to perform cultural programs.
