Dhanbad. Anger erupted among the Youth Congress and local villagers against Satyam Infra Private Limited, an outsourcing company operating in BCCL East Basuria Colliery Area 06 of Baghmara. Under the leadership of Dhanbad District Youth Congress Vice President Vishal Mahto, villagers from Gareria, Basuria, Bansjora, and surrounding areas staged an indefinite chakka jam of the company over their five-point demands. Speaking to the media, District Youth Congress Vice President Vishal Mahto accused the company management of continuously deceiving villagers and laborers. He stated that earlier an application was submitted to the project officer's office demanding employment for local youth. Following this, the company management assured via a letter that the issue would be resolved within 15 days. However, even after the stipulated time passed, not a single local person has been provided employment today, forcing the enraged villagers to resort to a chakka jam. The protesters alleged that Satyam Infra is working by flouting all DGMS rules. The protesters have issued a clear warning that their indefinite chakka jam and sit-in protest will continue until their five-point demands are fulfilled.
